Individual or couples therapy
Our responses to everyday situations are often impacted by our earliest relationships, stress, sadness, grief and/or trauma. You may find yourself feeling and reacting in ways that feel out of control or out of alignment with what matters to you most. You may think you, your work or your relationships are not at their full potential and are being held back by feelings and thoughts that keep you stuck or by relationship conflict that seems difficult to resolve.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT) are well researched and proven methods for helping you make the changes you want to see in your life.
I hope we can work together to help you live the life you imagine.

* Therapy services are provided through my clinical practice, Southern Oregon CBT, which is separate from Mullen Mediation. Please reach out to Kacy Mullen at 541-204-4933 if you are interested in establishing therapy services.*
Treatment for Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and Phobias
My approach includes evidence-based interventions for the treatment of depression and anxiety, including identifying your thoughts and beliefs in response to situations, helping you gradually confront situations and/or feelings that are distressing, and working alongside you to change any unhelpful patterns that contribute to suffering. Your deepest held values and goals will guide our work together.
Process Traumatic Events and Regain Freedom
My approach includes two specific kinds of evidence-based treatment for PTSD include Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy. They are aimed at helping you process traumatic experiences and get back into situations you may be avoiding because of past trauma. The goal of trauma-focused treatment is to help you move from surviving to thriving and to restore your freedom to live a whole and meaningful life.
Couples therapy
My approach focuses on helping couples identify the patterns that have kept them stuck in the past and shift toward a more helpful, grounded path forward. You set the priorities and we’ll work on the things that truly matter to your relationship, ensuring our sessions are productive, focused, and informed by the best evidence-based methods available.
